Look, no one is here to rip anyone off or try and run another league in the ground. All that we (CPHL) are trying to do is gauge the interest out there and talk with people right now. However, that doesn’t mean that for whatever reason we will or will not move forward in 2004. We have had positive response from the potential cities thus far. Therefore, if we do then it WILL be done correctly as not to repeat the same mistakes from others before. But if NOT, and if Myself or others decide to take a different direction at this point, well then Nobody and I mean Nobody will be out anything $$wise. Mind you, this is still in its infancy yet. I apologize that you all for waiting to put the web site up, however, most of you have understood. I can be contacted directly through the e-mail on the website.

Hi, i just have a few questions

Will the league have a press conference wednesday in front of medias?, that would be a great way to start promoting the league, its something the FHL hasnt even done yet!

Will the weekly salary cap of 7900.00$ be in $CAN or $US?

Is the league targeting the "ECHL, UHL, CHL, SEHL" level or the "QSMHL, OHA, NEHL, IIHL, GLHL" level?

And my last question is why having an american team in a Canadian pro league?

Thanks

That CPHL site reminds me of Killbreath. The flash intro music was the same he had on his old Bay City Jr A team site.

I doubt this league will ever hit the ice. After the whole IIHL situation you would think everyone on here would learn their lesson and not even talk about "this league" until it actually hits the ice.

I gave the Web Site a good look over. Not really that impressed.

I'm sure the people at SDN will jump right on board. They do with all the "internet" leagues.

Isn't that what a Hockey News site does , ticks you off no doubt

You are really funny being a " hockeyguru"

You would think the SDN has learned their lesson .... But, they didn't and it showed with the IIHL. Anyone remember the MAHL? They promoted the heck out of that one team Tier 2 Junior A league before it disappeared.

Until an actual product is on the ice, I will not even bother discussing some "new" league with no creditability. If the CPHL is legit, let is start announcing coaches, commissioner, etc. Why doesn't this "professional" league have a logo yet? Looks like the Web Site took all of 20 minutes using mostly "clip art" images.

Well I will tell you something very interesting SDN helped my career and my brother also.

No one knew who he was, because of the coverage that we both were given they helped us out, more than you know

So what have you done to help us hockey players today??

Killbreath,

Stop embarassing yourself like this. Nobody wants to hear from you and would all sooner see you locked up in a 10 foot cell with an AIDS infected lifer named Bubba.

You screwed over too many people to count and should be banned from this board.

Pardon my ignorance gang, but what or who is SDN? What is its significance or insignificance as it were in regards to hockey, or more specifically, minor league hockey?

It's a minor league news site, like OSC.
S is for Sportz
D is for Domain
N is for Network
Can't put them together because it comes out www.************.net

They concentrate strictly on Minor & Junior Hockey, no other sports. It's not as good as Pete's site here, but OK.

everyone to their own opinion but OSC just added more hockey here where as SDN .NET not netork gives more indpeth coverage, from Juniors to NHL by the way
in my opinion

We are grateful to them for what they have done for hockey and promoting the players.

REVVED should spend more time and fix the site he has before he starts comparing others

and BigChris can your bs " false statements again" are getting very old

I am not MK
You folks are "too funny" here

REVVED should spend more time and fix the site he has before he starts comparing others

I have all these contact avenues in my posts because I'm constantly looking for ideas. I update a site for one team's Fan Club, not a team, not a league & not all of hockey.

My focus is somewhat limited. However, I try to provide the most information possible for the people that visit. I've been on Pete's butt, ever since they did this switchover, to get their code fixed for the automated updates they used to have. I'm in contact with SDN & ITC for similar IFrames & Marquees (sorry for technical jargon). I got caught up in the IIHL mess because there was a team in Ohio. I'm sticking my neck out on the existing leagues, and hopefully the FHL & CPHL, so that our fan base can track former players and scout future players.

I welcome any suggestions anyone would have. If the powers-that-be find it relevant, I'll do what I can to implement it.

Well on Wednsday mr. CPHL was supposed to be free of "his contract" and was supposed to make some announcements and "be able to reveal his name". He did neither so I am starting to wonder if this is indeed Mike Killbreath running this thing.

When the f#c# is someone going to have this S.O.B. arrested? This is pathetic.

It isn't Kill(dreams)breath, but if he hasn't revealed himself, I'll respect his privacy.

We shall see if this is Killbreath or not. Operating in secrecy and refusing to even give your name is always a losing proposition when announcing a new sports league.

You can have a name if you're really, really good and play nice

I'm sure if you ask politely, he'll tell you
