if this will be the last NIFL Title game in the league as we know it. I suspect that several of the better franchises will be gone next year.
Indoor football is really starting to catch on. I mean, I had no idea that the Arena League had been around for 20 years ! Now it seems that ever city with an arena has got a team. Just wish they all had solid owners in solid leagues.
The game itself is incredibly fast paced and exciting. Very fan friendly and I think the AIFL mandate ( I think) that players make themselves available for autographs after the game for 30 minutes is probably the best rule thing about that League.
Speaking of the AIFL, I think's collapse, or at least major re-organization is imminent. Whay in the world does Andrew sign up franchises in Danville Illinois and Tupelo Ms. Nothing against the towns, but jeez, they are not close to anyone else in the League and travel costs are brutal for teams. That's solely the economic side of it. Bus rides in excess of ten hours suck scissors! Who's Tupelo gonna set up a rivalry with, Rome ! And dear God, the trip from Tupelo to Daytona, or Huntington.
It;;s no wonder Rapid City neat Katy so dolidly. Katy players copuildn't have had much in the way of legs. No excuses there, I'm confident Rapid City has a great club and organization, as does Katy, but you's like to think these guys could fly to a game like that.
Until the sport irons out solid ownership, regional groups such as the GLIFL make sense though they are really making a dumb stretch to include the Chesapeake group next year. The Great Lakes League in Prince Georges Co. Maryland ? Whaaaaaat ? WIll the EIFL get off the ground ? Will the South secede from the AIFL ? Are there any Grant's or Sherman's who work for Andrew ?
Then' to tie this all back together, there's Carolyn and her toss it against the wall and see what sticks league. Who's solid ? Billings for sure, Tri Cities, Fayetteville, Lakeland Fl River City. Now theres a road map to hell and back
