This should be a good game. But, one has to ask "What team does the NIFL want winning this game?" With all that happened between RC and Katy. You can't help but ask that question.

All I can say is Billings better have our money deposited into our account by Wednesday @ 7:00 per league rules for travel. And the pregame meal better be ready on time and warmed. And if it has to be Burger King maybe as a fan making the trip for the game I can move in on any extra whoppers that might be available.

Hi Guys, I'm working on it. I will let you know by Thursday what is available. It is doubtful at best, tho, sorry. We are BFE, you know. Aces, your pre-game cocktail just turned into a warm Rainier. Now don't make me hire Willie the a$$-scratching Wino to prepare your pre-game meal... =)

All we need is a PBJ before the game and some thunderbird (shudder...) after. We'll take care of the rest! :-)

I just got off the phone with Northern Hotel in Billings. They are offereing $45 (plus tax) rooms to all Rapid City Fans that are traveling to Billings for the game. Call 406-245-5121 and tell them you are coming for the game. That is where the team is staying.

thanks for the info. i take it you are going to the game then? we had a hard time finding a room because of a lewis and clark thing going on but if all rc fans stay at the same place we can get a party going there. thanks again.

No luck on a webcast/Internet radio option. Apparently, it is much like a blackout NFL game, designed to bring people to the game instead of staying at home listening to it. Sorry...
P.S. I'm glad you guys have the accomodations worked out. But it will probably be pretty quiet over there Friday night... =)

Stop by and we will give up a beer (maybe two). One of us will be celebrating a trip to the Indoor Bowl. The other will be toasting to the end of a great season. Winners all around.
If we win, we should be proud of how far we got with all the controversy that came with this season. If you win, it's because you consistently played hard and earned it. Both teams can be proud of this season and look forward to the rematches next season - in whatever format that is...

That's pretty cool of the Northern to offer a good rate for you fans. I'm with Outlaw, will be pretty quiet there Friday night though. Hopefully a few of you will make it up to the upper lot of the Metra for tailgating. Last weekend was a little slow as it was way over 100 out on the blacktop up there (a cool 101 compared to RC last Saturday). Whomever wins, may they beat the snot out of the Atlantic Champs...

Amen! Gonna call that Northern Hotel place tomorrow and try to get a room. Either way we will try to make it to the tailgaiting. It's getting closer...I hope the money was deposited in our account for travel. I hope we don't have to drive. Oh wait, the team is driving anyways. See you guys Friday!!!

I know that you are just joking about Billings sending the money, but all joking aside; Billing is a real standup organization - From players to management. RC and Billings will (and have) sort that out like gentlemen, without league involvement.
I just wanted to show some props for Billings on the management end. If all the teams in the NIFL were like Billings, we wouldn't have anything to write about...

Oh, I almost forgot: What time do you guys start tailgating? I'm coming up early and think I can make it. And since you invited, I think it's only fair if someone were to kick down a beer. You know, since we had to make the drive and all.
Outlaws Fan and Original Outlaw - let me know how to spot you. I'll come shake your hand and wish you luck.

Last question on tailgating: A few of us are planning to come to your tailgate party. Are there vendors where we can get a burger or something? Or, do we need to find a way to bring our own. We'll be hungry by the time we get there...

all aces, are you staying at that northern hotel? we just got a room there and will be there in the afternoon. we are hoping to hook up with the tailgaters as well. you know how many rc fans coming? where are your seats? we are right behind our bench row 1 i think.

I will be at the hotel. Too good of a deal to pass up. I know that a bunch of the owners are comming. Some of the game staff are comming. Some of the cheerleaders are comming. And a bunch of fans, but I don't know who. Many are planning to drive home after the game. No thanks! I like to keep my car right side up...
Sounds like you got great seats! I don't know where ours are yet. Someone else is getting them for our group. It would be great if they were all as good as yours. We are asking for the seats to be blocked together with any other RC people. It would suck if they made us spread out...

Someone will definately have to play the drunk, babling fan with tourette syndrome who's team was beat out of the playoffs by one of the teams playing.
But I suspect you will have that one covered...

Yeah... you don't want to run into a deer, cow, or buffalo in the middle of night. ;)
Nah, I'm just messing. I'm sure you guys get enough of those "middle of nowhere" jokes as it is. But hey, I'd rather have jokes like that than the stereotypical redneck stuff we hear, as if we're all like that. Not true. A lot of people I know here aren't redneck at all.

What? Those were jokes??? Dude!!! Deer, Cows, Antelope... Very real driving threats up here! It's no joke. :p
Personally, I like it out in the middle of no-where. You can tease all you want. Everyone has a conceled weapons permit (even Clettes). I can leave my door unlocked at night safely and the criminals usually commit crimes on each other (stupid fights and the occational knifing)...
I used to sit in Stockton, California and listen to the automatic gunfire in the distance every night. This is heaven compared to that. I like it here, so you can't offend me.

I here you guys, I have always lived in the south somewhere and when I speak you can tell. But there's nothing wrong being a redneck either, they are all over not just in the south as some may think. Personally I like being "out in the sticks". '88, you might live in F'ville which is not a big city but big enough for me not to really want to live there. I lived in Norfolk, VA for 5 years and the Tidewater area has way too many people. I will never do that again unless I have too.
BTW, you guys have a great time, show some sportmanship, buy each other a beer and let the games begin. Like I said, all of the teams left now are truly the cream of the crop, not to say Katy and the Bolts aren't just not as good this year.
Darn almost took away the babling drunk part, wait a minute I'm not drinking. Later Drew.

Right on! I hope our team stays in the same league for a while so we can have a friendly rivalry for years to come!!! Next season the conf championship game has to be here though : ). We will show our thanks by helping out Billings fans...can't wait for the game! Less than 24 hours!!!

Too bad the idiots at the NIFL brass will take credit when none is deserved. RC, you gave us all we could handle this year, thanks for heart attacks...

I just posted on another thread, but it diappeared. Oh well.
I'm back in front of my computer. I drove home yesterday - got back just in time to head down and meet the team for some self-medicating.
I tried to get the officials' attention during the game to point out that I have high blood pressure and can't take that much intensity... I thought they should just award RC with a forfeit win, but he said I would have to go to Katy to get that kind of a ruling.
I can't wait to watch our teams battle agian next year.
Good luck with the guard. I don't think you need it, but every bit helps...
