im unable to make the trip as well but im gonna catch it on the webcast on sat. night, wish the billings/rapid city was on webcast so i could find out who wins before we play the next night. guess ill have to wait for the nifl website to update the score as fri. night goes along. hopefully we'll get the chance to host the indoor bowl on the 28th or 29th.

I have gotten all the information, and my schedule will allow me to go. However, I am not yet certain if I am actually going to do it. I am leaning towards going, but still a few points of hesitation in the back of my mind. About 90% that I will go at this point. I am going to go by the office tomorrow and try to find out a little more information and then make a final decision. I will let you know.

The arrangements don't seem too good from my perspective. The price is OK if you are going by yourself and had no intentions of a possible drive. Gas is high and the time it takes to get there is long but not staying overnight is the real killer for me. The time is not going to change roughly 12-14 hours from F'ville on a bus and you will feel rushed going straight there and back. My thinking is for me to find alternate means for the same money or close. Don't let me sway anyone's decision but for me I will not be going by bus.

BTW, I listened to the Billings game last week I think using Quicktime for the medium, but a TC feed. I thought KJFF had the game? The Rage game I had to use Win player 9 I think. I had no problems with either game. Not sure if it would work this week or not.

Funny how I was ridiculed for leave 60 seconds early in a game for not being a "True Fan"; when the Team has made arrangements for it's fans to go to an away game and no one is going.!! Pretty SAD. I quess there aren't any "True Fans" on this board.

....and sour grapes, sounds like....

stop bellyachin'...

i like his excuse "I will never support the NIFL by buying another ticket again"

LOLOLOL

Like Greensboro had any games left after the REGULAR SEASON...
I had tickets for your game last Sunday and didn't go!!!!!!!!

though I wasn't the one ridiculing your early departure, the HUGE difference is the fact that you were already AT the game, it was less than an hour and a half away and it wasn't $200 and you obviously had no prior commitments....
I may not had comittments for Saturday midnight but I did for early Sunday. I like to get some sleep for.

So what??

You missed yet another blowout--what do you want from me??
What do I want? I know, a seat next to you on the bus (mini-van) to St. Louis.!! While I'm in St.Louis, I'll get a tour of the Bud factory while your game is being played. And on the long trip home we can share stories of how much fun we had there.

Seems like the Fayetteville fans haven't changed much from the AF2 days.

Man, I thought the Katy players were tough for their Rapid City trip. Sounds like one helluva trip for you fans who decide to go. Good luck in your game.

Just sticking my nose in here... 5 to 14 hour bus rides are a weekly occurrence for the players. Just bring a small blanket and pillow and you should be able to sleep most of the way home. It’s not for everyone, but it isn't as bad as it sounds.

I took the player bus to a game and slept most of the way home. I thought I would hate it, but it was definitely worth it. And that was not a championship game.

I would just encourage you to go. From the sounds of your posts, you guys are dedicated to the team above and beyond most. Don't miss it.

I'd definitely do it if we could, but we won't be able to make the trip. I'm really bummed out, but you know I'll be intently listening here at home.

All Aces:

Good luck this weekend against Billings, I've got you guys pulling off the upset friday and then coming to Fayetteville next weekend for the Indoor Bowl 6.

Safe Travels and looking forward to seeing you in N.C. for the N.C.

Regards,

T.A.

I would love to see you guys in Fayetteville, but I understood that your arena was booked for the weekend with Sesame Street Live. Will you be able to host?

But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Neither Billings nor River City are at all interested in seeing your plan come to fruition. Let's get past them first, then make travel arrangements...

Personally, I would like to retire in NC. Going to the bowl game there would give me a chance to check out a little of the area...

me and the espn guy are talking about putting together a promo at buffalo wings for the webcast but i think the turnaround is too short--may just 'tailgate' at the crib and listen in
You know, I was thinking about something like a listening party. Man, that'd be sweet if you guys did that; Buffalo Wild Wings is awesome. Hopefully you can work it out.

Guys as of right now my wife and I are going, but not by bus. I made reservations to fly out after lunch on Friday. We arrive in St. Loius late afternoon. We could not see ourselves riding over 13 hours via bus from F'ville or 16 hours driving from the coast where we live. I will try to be as loud as possible for those who could not go, but remember I am only one in about 3000+ at the game. I called the Guard office and told them I could not go the bus route unless we had an overnight stay. I can't go that long without at least brushing my teeth and washing my head. Sounds kind of crazy but try flying to Japan sometime straight thru. The bus was the cheapest route to go in the long run but just not my thing I don't think.

I made this choice vice trying to fly to Billings as I hope AllAces chance comes true for them to come our way. Good luck in MT, Aces Fans.

i called this afternoon to also say i couldn't make it for the bus trip and i was told they were cancelling it anyways since only 14 ppl paid to go. so even if i would have worked it out to go wouldnt of had a way there anyways lol. oh well i as well will catch the game on the webcast. so for those fans who r going like drew your gonna have to yell really loud as nobody else is making it unless they r flying as well. if anyone happens to drive themselves, please be safe. good luck to rage, outlaw, and aces fans this weekend :)

Good luck everyone! Final 4 teams all deserve to be where they are! Everyone have safe travels and see you back next week for more trash talk and Indoor Bowl talk! That's too bad about the bus not going with only 14 people, hopefully everyone that wanted to go gets to go. I don't know how many RC fans will be in Billings but it sounds like quite a few. On my way there tomorrow morning! Good luck everyone!!!
