Lakeland's web site headline describing our win over them yesterday:
"THUNDERBOLTS FALL DUE TO INJURIES AND PENALTIES"
Wow. Excuses, excuses. They lost to the better team! Where's our due respect?

why r you surprised? thats the same respect we always get. whether its injuries, penalties, or whatever. i got a question for the ,bolts fans and orginazation...................... whats your exscuse for our receivers being open by 20 yards? dont tell me the refs were holding you lol. its pathetic the respect we don't get. we could win the indoor bowl and there would be an exscuse for that happening. will do the talking on the field and show why we should have respect. forget about lakeland their home for the season were not so we dont need their respect.
hope you all had a good day at work this am in lakeland explaining to your co-workers how you blew the biggest game of the year lol.

don't forget #44 givan, he did exactly what his name says, he kept givan our offense yards with his dumb mkstakes. he had 1 sack the whole game and that was it for him. like i said in other threads they argued with their teammates and coaches all night after they couldnt cover our wr's. glad to hear you got on robinson, saw him talking. us guard fans on the other side were getting on their def. cord.("peewee/gary coleman"). they were so confident before the game but by the end they didn't have much to say lol. what happened to the cowboys jersey? were you trying to blend in with the camouflage? lol. hope to see you for one more home game(fingers crossed).

The best part was when we were all over #21. He kept flexing in front of us. Then, moments later, he gets BURNED for a touchdown. Wasn't even anywhere near the receiver.

If you are wondering where Lakeland is getting their "penalties" complaint, the Box Score indicted Lakeland had 14 penalties for 104 yards while Fayetteville had 5 penalties for 16 yards. Yikes! Did that decide the game? Not a chance. Fayetteville definitely had the better team that night. Drew had a nice post on another thread regarding your wins. It supports the Guard's point that they haven't been handed their position in the league, they earned it. The 4 best teams in the NIFL are represented in the playoffs and you just don't see that very often. Good luck to the Guard, we hope to see you in Billings next week...

i hear ya gn, but i don't consider myself above anyone but i know where you were going with what you said lol. i'll tell you what i sit right behind the announcing table and i thought for sure that jamie deese was seriously hurt but thankfully he popped back up. honestly man the biggest thing that saved him from serious injury was the fact that he fell short of the steps leading to the floor. i was hoping when he came over the boards he wouldn't fall on his neck or break anything, concrete doesn't give as we all know. lucky for him and all of the orginazation he was alright, we need his offensive skills. you making the trip to st.louis GN? if you are have a great time :)
