My hat goes off to Lakeland Thunderbolt QB Jason Johnson. Don't be fooled by his 5-14 performance, He is a real talent!! The Guard defense just got to him early & often, knocking him out of the game in the first half.
Johnson is as tough as they come and showed alot of grit getting back under center in the second half. I am sure the scouts were sufficiently impressed with his talent and toughness. I noticed a scout from the NY Dragons, speaking with him immediately following the game. I hope Lakeland enjoyed having him this year because he seems destined to move up in the ranks of professional football.
Which brings me to this question, which other NIFL players are the AFL-AF2 scouts taking a long hard look at??
