Any notes on this? Haven't heard much about it. Seems like Billings handled Tri Cites pretty well.

Wasn't as close as the score. Billings defense was AWESOME tonight. A couple of TO's kept it somewhat respectable. The NIFL still hasn't posted the final score in your game, was it close?

It seemed like every bounce and every call went to Tri-Cities tonight. So much for home field advantage for the Outlaws. And we still dominated. Not good news for RC. Now that the rust has worn away after a month off, we are ready to win a championship!

just listening to the game it sounded like all the calls went to Billings not Tri-cities. I don't know how you can say all the calls went against Billings when Tri-cities first touchdown was called back for a flag called on a player that wasn't even on the field at the time.

You weren't here. The bounces DID go your way, as did the penalties. We had a kickoff return for a touchdown brought back by penalty. Plus, we almost doubled up Tri-Cities in the penalty numbers 9-5. The worst part for us was we kept giving your starting field position at mid-field. Our turnovers and "prevent defense" prevented an enormous blow-out. That is due to rust, we will do better next week. After the last 2 games against us, it is safe to say that Tri-Cities is not in the same league as the Outlaws. You even had "all your players" this time...

P.S. Your team brought the artificial noise cow bells. Nice try, sissies. Bring some voices, but even that got kinda quiet kinda quick.

I was not there either OO but from what I heard in the first half it sounded like Billings had the upper hane on the calls. The first 4 penalties called were against TC I think, and of them one was/sounded like a bad one. The one that called the TD back. Either way, I felt that it was over at the half and went to bed. Congrats on the win, heading to F'ville to see the Guard dominate I hope. Drew.

I hate it when the refs decide the game... The Fever didn't score their second TD until halfway through the 4th qtr. Give credit when it's due.

Off by one, Drew, the second penalty of the game was on us. Every game has questionable calls, but I thought there were more against us as the game went on. Merely an opinion, but the stats lean towards my assumption. Even so, the officiating didn't win it, the best defense in the NIFL did. Tri-Cities had only SEVEN points well into the 4th quarter before "prevent" defense prevented an enormous blowout. We had to knock some rust off after not playing for a month. Let's see how your team does tonight. Is it on Internet radio anywhere? You know, if I hear about questionable calls in favor of the Guard at home, should I let you know about it? =)
