Ok, let me get this straight. The Owner of the Marshals explained that they were not able to secure US Bank Arena because (18) semi trailers were required for the Faith Hill concert set-up.

The Cincinnati - Osceola Game was scheduled for July 8th.

Faith Hill performed in Atlanta on July 8th.

Faith Hill performed the next night in Memphis.

Based on the Owner of the Marshal's, (54) semi trailers would be required for this tour, undoubtably making it the largest concert tour in modern times.

How about a collective round of BS! All of this to get beat by 50 by River City.

Did it take 18 trucks to move the Colts out of Baltimore? This as a setup from the start.

ARE YOU GOING TO STOP with the MARSHALS BASHING??? because they didn't get beat by 50 and there were actuall schedule conflicts... I was involved, I know for a fact there were problems. Just get over it already!

Its frustrating because the Marshals didn't stand a chance against River City (Wyatt wasn't losing to them again), the team that DID stand a chance wasn't even given one.

MF80, I think a lot of folks want to know how the Faith Hill concert could cause issues when the concert road crew wasn't scheduled to arrive until 2 days after the football game. I don't know your organization and I am willing to give you a chance for an explanation. But, this does looks fishy. Saying "get over it" doesn't help...

Thanks T'bolt and Outlaw for recognizing this is BS. Would Osceola beat River City? Who knows, but it definitely impacts both Fayetteville and Lakeland.

BTW, I did some checking with the US Bank Arena staff. The Faith Hill concert folks began set-up at 10am on July 10th.

Might want a better back story next time Marshals! I would have looked forward to seeing you pummeled here in Lakeland.

You weren't at the game...the Marshals did play pretty well. If the game had gone like the first 3-4 drives, the Marshals would have stomped the Rage. I just don't think that the Marshals were in as 'good of shape' coming into the game.

There were MULTIPLE SCHEDULE CONFLICTS...which don't all have to do with ARENA issues, that I know for a fact. Take out the Indy day holiday and this might have not been and issue.

I don't think that Osceola would have had any more of a chance against the Rage than the Marshals did.

Of all of the teams that I've seen this year, and I've seen all of the Atlantic Conf. teams, and quite a few of the Pacific Conf. teams... River City really does look like the best team in the NIFL *note* I haven't seen 3 of the last 4 of the Pacific Conference teams.

The "get over it" is a valid point at this point because those of us who travel with the Marshals know that this game could have been Osceola or Us because of the LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM in the LEAGUE. When both teams are being told different things about what was happening (even when it came to 'securing venue') that causes serious problems. Heck, the locker room passes even said Osceola Football on them. :D

Personally, I still would have rather played the Osceola game. (or watched, since I don't actually play) I wanted the Marshals to really get their chance at some sort of revenge againts the 'FOOTBALL/OUTLAWS/ROUGH RIDERS'

I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the Playoffs and seeing what happens to some of the other teams that I have been following this season. I'm just hoping that the Guard win today so I can go back to St. Louis to watch them next weekend. I'd like to see that Guard beat the Rage that's for sure.;)

Despite all of the MESS that started off these playoffs, I'm expecting to see some good games to end this season.

Jeez, MF80, you are making this too easy. Number one, you obviously haven't "seen" the best team in the NIFL, the Billings Outlaws. I guess I should remind you that we defeated RiverCity *AT* RiverCity this year, where you sucked recently. Number two, you still didn't answer my question after I posted it so nicely. I was willing to offer you the chance at a normal, common sense explanation and you blew it off. NIFL fans must assume that Cincinnati had a pre-determined game plan for manipulating a way to bypass a good team. Osceola, I tip my hat to you. You had a pile-o-crap dumped on you. Jimbo, hold your head high. The dignity lies with you, not with Cincinnati lies. We will see you next year in a real league.

WANT an explaination??? CONTACT MARSHALS OWNERSHIP. You'll get one, and as much as you might think it's BS, it's not. U.S. Bank arena has sucked for the last two years when it has come to Marshals events. It's a matter of the arena owns and is more interested in getting it's BURRIED ALIVE hockey team back up out of the ground...and they aren't interested in having any other sport at the arena as a full time tenant.

I'm sure that a member of the Marshals ownership would be GLAD to talk to you about the situation if you are THAT UPSET OVER IT. AGAIN, I would have rather had the first round game...I still think that the 'football' and the Marshals should play some sort of Charity Game to see who would have really won. It could actually turn all of the BS into something that is worth worrying about.

Bottom line is that Osceola would've given RiverCity a better game and Cincy got favorable treatment because Osceola actually stood up to this lousy league office.

Oh my people, get over it. Its done, drop it, and think on the bright side, there is next year for both teams, and i am sure no matter what league each team is in there will be something scream foul about.

MF80, we've tried to contact multiple people with the Marshals several times to ask just those questions and we have yet to receive a return phone call.

Who are you calling? seriously... They have been pretty accessable *sp maybe* to me over the course of the season...INCLUDING THROUGH THIS WHOLE THING.

If you have all the infor, MF80, why don't YOU give us some details instead of directing us to people who apparently, aren't as accessible as you say...

Because as much as I would like to give ALL THE INFO, it's not really my place. Unlike most people who just come here to BASH and talk CRAP, I'm more about this being a place where fans can talk and have a good time...and get to know eachother in order to make road trips a little more fun.

At this point both the Marshals season and the Osceola season are over so this is a waste of time to talk about. Good luck to all the teams remaining left in the playoffs!!!

We call the number on their website's contact page (http://www.cincinnatimarshals.com/contact.asp). We left phone messages for three different people. We had also tried them earlier in the season on another issue and didn't receive calls back then, either.
