In scorching weather there were 26 walks by both teams,This is not good baseball and is not good for the league.AFTER INTERVIEWING SOME OF THE PLAYERS, I FOUND OUT THEY DID NOT HAVE A GOOD ROSIN BAG. THIS IS AND SHOULD BE UNACCEPTABLE TO THE LEAGUE. It seems to be a statistical anomaly. I know a few pitchers involved in the game have thrown over 130 pitches a game the last 3 or 4 games. Are they worn out, over used or just plain wild? What a boring game. Having umpired plenty of years myself, I say make the hitters hit.Major league umpires call pitches on the black strikes all the time. MAKE THE GAME MOVE ALONG. I've seen 8 year olds with better control. The games I've followed it allways seems the visiting team has more trouble with issuing walks. Today I'm THE FRUSTRATED FAN.

From what I've seen pitchers must hit their corners in order to maybe get calls. If strikes are thrown and hit,the fielding errors are too many. Some excellent pitching and umps don't seem to know how to call the corners.

Great replies, keep up the good work. There were 12 walks again in Alexandria last night. I would like to know the umpires stats. That is how many balls and strikes per game. Hmmmmm.
