I would like to see goguard88 on the list. He has kept a great personal website on the team (Guard) and the league. His posts on here have always made since and at times cooled some heads. His webpage for brackets was outstanding and better than the NIFL site. Copperhead and he both should be on a ballot and the fans on here decide, one last note, Guardnoise should be on there too. He gets crazy at times but is really a great fan, just likes to push peoples buttons at times. Drew.

Pushing buttons does not make a great fan. Most of you Guard Fans are true fans. I would nominate all of you, even Nutz :) , before ArtificialNoize. You don't have to be an a$$hole to be a fan.

I said on the ballot and let the fans decide, my guess is you would not vote for him. Anyhow, he does more than talk trash on here, but it's just my opinion he is one of the true fans.

Well thank you, If you actually knew everything i do and get to do as being a fan.... As fans we got to be gameday staff and both the Drillers home games and even the Copperheads home games. We are 45 minutes from Lake Charles and we get free tickets to any game that we can make over when the Swashbucklers play. I have a standing invitation with both Odessa and San Angelo to get into games where ever they play. Have even been asked what it would take to get us to lakeland, Wyoming and Tri Cities for a game. Even been told if i could make it up to an Iowa game in the APFL i could help on the webcast. Next year i am working on being the sideline reporter during all copperhead webcasts. At the AllStar game last season, we were invited to help work the Combine that was put on the morning of the game. It has been a very Fun Ride! I saw 14 games last season for FREE ( and most of them are front row) and this season i am at 13 with the Swashbucklers having a home game tonight that i plan on going to and then the IFL playoffs yet to come.... Did i mention i havent paid for a ticket in 2 seasons, anywhere i have been? But like i said, This has been a fun ride and look forward to keeping it going...

sportznut, you do sound like a true fan. Keep it up as this league needs fans like you and '88 (great website keeping track of playoff seedings, etc).

'Drew, Looks like he doesn't even talk trash here now, huh? A real fan doesn't cheer by intimidation. To have a "fan of the year nominee" challenge another fan to fly across the country to fight is ludicrous. This is why you are a way better fan than him, you can have a difference of opinion and not get your panties in a bunch. Good luck in your game tomorrow.

GO OUTLAWS!!!

Hell, I never want to fight with a fellow fan, even if they got under my skin at one point or another.. I really enjoy watching a game is " hostile" surroundings. In Lake Charles one year, we had beeer thrown at us, What a waste of a good beer. The first trip to Odessa last season, we had some fans throwing coins at us. We asked the usher to go tell them to throw paper money instead of the nickles... I could care less that we were getting pelted, but the ones that missed us and hit the people below us, That is where i had concern. I even told the usher that i would scoop up the change they were throwing and go buy a bag of popcorn with it, and let the usher go give it to then to throw that at us..... We are all passionate fans of our teams and that is comendable! especially sticking it out through this season. But his fan of the year nomination is going to be for the best fan from all the leagues.... Not just ours...

GuardNoize should be the winner, hands down!

Who else on the board goes to the lengths that he goes too?

He puts the Fun in dysfunctional, when it comes to his passion for football and the Fayetteville Guard.

Hey man, thanks for the love. That definitely makes me feel good to hear. And thanks to you too, OutlawsFan. Although, will you still think the same of me if we beat you in the Indoor Bowl? :D

'88: I won't hold a grudge, want to brawl, and then recite nursery rhymes... I'm as big a fan as the next guy, I just don't step over the line.

'Shiver: He also puts the a$$ in cla$$.

The Outlaws kicked some butt tonight. Giant raspberries for all of you non-believers who picked the Fever. Keep on picking against The Outlaws, I love being the underdog. GO OUTLAWS!

Um, my bet is that Shiver is actually Noize in drag. Funny how a total rookie could know so much about him and want him to be so applauded. Hi Noize, nice try...

Okay, let's get back to the subject at hand.
