According to the Charleston paper, the league owes them $40,000. If Charleston had traveled for the playoffs, the NIFL would have owed them another $10,000, but the SandSharks management didn't feel either bill would be paid.

So apparently, they think they weren't ineligible. Goodness. At least this confirms they won't be in the playoffs, so my bracket's still right.

Montgomery making the playoffs and winning the Indoor Bowl would be GREAT press for the league....

NIFL getting them in the playoffs so far, what's next? Montgomery loses by 30, but is awarded a forfeit win for some reason? I wonder..... :)
