Congrats to Elmira Jackals on signing Curtis Tidball and 'Big Show' Brendan Tedstone.I plan on making the 4 hr drive to Emira at least once this coming season.

Better take your camera when you make that 4 hour trip and get as many pictures of the Jackals players and game action as you can since come the end of the season (or sooner) the Mayflower moving van will be pulling up to First Arena at 3 AM and Afr will be Elmira's Robert Irsay. Sadly they will be gone like yesterday's rain storm.

With increased travel costs most people think Elmira will fold after this season. I would personally like to extend an open invitation to the Afr family to relocate the franchise to Louisville, Ky. Everybody here liked the Afr crew and completely understand that whole AHL mess. ;)

Just joking. I really don't have any ill-feeling toward the Afr family. They did what they did and it can't be undone. I just think they made too many promises and kept there fingers crossed. They shouldn't have gone so far overboard. Someone posted the that you have to know the business of hockey and I guess they don't. Elmira will sink or swim this year and if they sink then they'll have two other options. The WHA is supposed to be coming back and that website has 8 teams listed. The NEHL is trying to get off the ground as well. Tamar will find a way. Or a way out.

Tedstone take your wide angle lens! This dude is an absolute joke. To waste salary money on him is absolutely ridiculous! Look at his # of games played. The first time he faces anyone who knows what they are doing he will be left a bloody mess just like last year in Rockford when he choked on The Big Snake.
