Who's Minding The Store? THE ULB Must Be Run By Very Selfish People Or Mental Midgets. I Allways Thought The Best Players Went To An All Star Game Not Favorite Sons. Did You Share The Pay Off Or Keep It For Yourself? This All Star Selection Is An Insult To The Fans And The State Of Texas.CHECK THE STATS, SEE FOR YOURSELF,THE BEST PLAYERS ARE NOT GOING TO BE PLAYING AT THE ALL STAR GAME. BECAUSE FAIRNESS,RESPECT,HONOR,TRUTH AND THE AMERICAN WAY MEANS SOMETHING TO ME,IS THE U.N. RUNNING THE ULB?

Check The Stats. Many Players Have Much Better Stats Than Those Chosen. I Did My Homework If You Care You'll Do Yours Also. Last Time I Checked An Era Of 3.7 Is Better Than 4.7 . Do You Think One Team Against The Chosen Ones Is Better Than An All Star Game With The Leagues Best Players Eqaully Distributed? Educate Me And Try To Change My Mind. I'm Not Slighted, They Are Slanted.just The Facts, No Negative Emotions.many Sports Writers Use Humour And Sarcasm, why Do You Feel Someone Is Slighted, feeling Guilty, Eh?

Slighted as in shortchanged. I was asking you which players you felt were shortchanged by not being selected to the All-Star game.

I'm really tired of going to a game to look for talent and they are either released or just with another team. I don't mind the trades that is baseball, but you just can't keep up with where anyone is,either on the websites or anywhere. What's going on? The Allstar game will still have the players that were listed?

If This Were A Real All Star Game Many More Prospects Could Outshine League Darlings Who Are Benefitting From A Real Lack Of Competition. Some Teams Have Defensive Problems, Which Make A Pitcher's Era A Whole Point Higher. Maybe The League Thinks Nobody Is Watching. Good Minor League All Star Games Will Have 1 Pitcher Per Inning With The Top 2 League Leaders Pitching 2 Inn. A Piece. Here's The Solution. I Hope Next Year It Will Be Different, If This League Has A Next Year. Not So Rabid Today, bewildered.

What are you upset about with the teams?

I'm sorry, I don't remember saying I was upset with the teams. I think by now after reading what I've written you would have realized that one All-Star Team versus a team is not the same as two teams of chosen All-Stars. It is a matter of principle. One is an All-Star Game, and the other is a game with a team of All-Stars. Forget about this situation; has anything I said made any more sense than this contrived setup (the ULB news article called it a setup) has? Don't worry about my rabidity, but convince me with logic and insight as to why what the ULB is doing is superior in anyway?

Where did the ULB state that the Allstar teams/games were a set up?

The 6/27 All Star Article Has Been Edited And Post Dated To Appear Without "as It Has Been Setup". I Have The Oringinal Article Printed Up. Nice Change. I Will Not Charge For My Consulting Fees. The Edited Artcle Still Does Not Mean It Was Not A Setup. Same Situation --- Different Words. It Has Been Fun. I Love The Game, love The Competition. Pitch Count Has Been Too High For Some Pitchers And It May Be Starting To Show. Coaches Should Protect The Arms Of These Young Pitchers. 130+ Pitches Is Too Much For One Game, let Alone Trying To Come Strong The Next Game.

i dont see how the number 1 pitcher in the league statistically was not selected to the all star team. this kid has came in and basically dominated. he has the best ERA in the league and second in the league in wins. two other pitchers from his team were selected with worse stats... this league must be run by some idiots. i know the argument will be made that he is on the number one team in the league and they will be playing the all star team but come on at least acknowledge his season so far.

It Was'nt Fair To To Play On A Team With Only One Team's All Stars Versus 5 Teams All Stars. Bric Has Great Starter Numbers. Good Luck Mr. Steed, May You Get Signed.

The U L B has done a great job of getting people to their games.Having followed many minor leagues, the U L B attendance is much higher than many affilate leagues.Congrats. Too many walks seem to be a statistical anomaly. Having followed some of the pitching stats of some of these players throughout their careers and the leagues' stats this year,I've heard anouncers for the opposing team say "I have to admit that was a strike." YES offense keeps people at the games, at the expense of some of the leagues best pitchers not getting signed by affilates. Batting averages seem a little too high, with full counts or 2 strikes the advantages seem to be for the hitters.Check out Bric Steed's or Michael Kesten's stats. They are both great lefties. GOOD LUCK U L B players. Thanks for your effort so far.

This league is killing the pitchers stats and from getting signed. This is a batting haven, without good fielding response.

So,how to correct this? Do we have only Major league batters, with Minor league pitching, and fielding that is too old? Is this league considered AA,AAA or both with some players too old?
