POWER RANKING 64.5

Lineup:The Paints have two of the leagues top hitters in Matt Cooksey (.380) and Paul Rutgers (.362). As a team they are hitting .266 with 24 homeruns and 51 stolen bases. John Ramistella leads the team in homeruns with 7 and he and Cooksey supply all the speed with 15 and 14 stolen bases. They have committed 43 errors but the regulars are solid.

Pitching: The Paints are lead by the one two punch of Kurt Hartfelder and Perry Cunningham. Hartfelder is 5-1 with 1.12 era and a 0.97 whip. The pen has done a fine job and Eric Teall has seven saves limiting the opponets to .203 avg. witha 1.04 era.

Here's what I would think about the Paints:

Major Strength for the Paints:
Excellent offensive lineup. I believe we have guys who can make a big impact once they have bats in their hands, and also on the base paths. Ramistella steals alot of bases and can hit for power. Matt Cooksey is starting to really get hot. Travis Garcia is doing just fine. Jaziel Mendoza can contribute when needed. Jeff Funaro is clutch, surprisingly. Though I like what Perry Cunningham and Kurt Hartfelder are doing, the offense have been doing alittle bit more.

Major Weakness for the Paints:
Fielding. Errors, errors, and more errors! When it's late in the game especially, our defense seems to struggle and give up costly runs. Constant examples of this would be bad throws to home, sloppy plays in the infield that are quite easy, and maybe pickoff throws.

Overall:
I think our Paints will do fine if only they step up with their defensive play. I think Chillicothe will be there in the end, we just need to stop making foolish plays when we have the gloves on late in the game.

Nonetheless, I believe the team has true grit and determination. I'd give them a 64.7 rating.

Yikes...just like I said, our fielding collapses when it's late in the game. We just blew another game to the Wild Things because of the poor fielding.
