they are THAT good bro...they score when they don't even play...when they're sleeping....

Unless, of course, they play an elite team. Then they score 41. Too bad the other team scores 60...

I've heard rumors that "bye week" was a replacement team!! :)

Hey, what's that all about? I thought our teams were cool with each other.

there are alot of replacement teams all over the league they should atleast learn the game before they play it and then the blow outs woulded be so huge

Go88, we are cool, but I can't help poking a tad. Should you see me saying the Outlaws will smack everybody in our sleep, please remind me that any given game can have a goofy ending. The Guard have a very strong showing and it is nice to see that. But you got to understand that the studs in this league are fixin to lock horns. Feel free to poke at my team, but we enjoy the catbird seat right now. All arguments are on our side until we lose. Good luck to you...

P.S. Go88, I extend the same offer to all Guard. Should we meet in the Championship game, let me know if you are interested in a pre-game beverage. We are very hospitable in Montana, but we tend to have a nasty streak in the NIFL forums.... =)

How can THE elite team play another team 'elite' TO THEM??

We ain't scared.....bring it, home or away.

I'd love to come up there if you guys host, but I doubt I'll get to. That's so far away. Even if I did, though... if you're talking about the pre-game beverage I think you're talking about, I'm not eligible. ;)

Incidentally, Dan... what the heck are you talking about with this 30 points thing? Maybe you've been having one too many "beverages". :D

'88, you know how he can be at times (GN) is a character. BTW the cost for airfare out of RDU to Billings is about 7-8 "C" notes for a round trip. If you do go I will buy you at least one non-alcoholic drink.

Noize, at this point in the season, we can logically say the elite teams are the 6 Divisional leaders. Those 6 teams each played AT LEAST one game against another elite team. Please do your homework and see how each team did against the others in those games. If you want me to post it, I'd be happy to. There is a strong argument for placing The Guard as the 5th best team in the NIFL - in spite of the lofty record. That doesn't mean they can't win it all, every elite team will have a good chance at it. Even the second-tier teams can make some Noize...

No need to post it, Mr. Fancy Pants...if you read the last post before yours from GTDREW where he says "GN is a character", you should have inferred that I bust balls. Not just up here but at the games, in fantasy football, in everyday life. BUST BALLS!

I really could give a rats a$$ either way and probably don't care as much as you THINK I do. I love the Guard, support the Guard, make the noisemakers for them for free, do their TV show each week for free, sit behind the opponents and ride the team ALL NIGHT LONG, even have been known to get into verbal scuffles with local reporters here in their defense and come up here to shout how great they are obviously and will CONTINUE to do whatever I can for them for as long as we have them.

That said, I still don't put 1/20th the energy into them as I do the NFL (the one without the 'I') so I guess what I'm trying to say is--DON'T SEND ME YOUR STATS--you are probably one of the ones who claim we've only played semi-pro teams every game and the ones we didn't, it was bad calls that made us win (at 50-points a clip) or one of the ones that actually BLAME US for OTHER TEAMS PROBLEMS by playing and paying them to play. Not our fault.

Learn how to take a joke.

Meanwhile, Perry just sleepwalked his way to another score.

It's 37-0

Noize, you're right. Claiming to be THE elite team was a joke, and it was FUNNY! Hey, let me know when you actually start busting balls instead of rambling. BTW, your team has a lot of great fans, and I bet THEY give a rats a$$ if you don't...

P.S. Sleepwalking Perry flagged for Delay of Game... =)

Noize, you guys need artificial methods to make noise during games??? What happened to using something more original, say, your voice? You know you're loud when you walk out after the game with a migraine and no voice. Don't tell me you are a milk jug half-full of marbles kinda guy...

Perry The Sleepwalker was just flagged for excessive celebration.

There is no question about this...

I feel confident, too, but I wouldn't guarantee anything. We haven't faced many top-notch teams yet. Let's see how we do against Lakeland (possibly) first. I know we lost to them already, but we've got momentum now, so we're a bit different.

OriginalOutlaw
07-02-2006, 09:38 AM
Nice meltdown, Noize. I saw no reference to your gayness anywhere. What's up with that? Your ramblings make no sense. Rookie...

Go88, Drew, you should be confident in your team. Until you lose, you should consider yourselves unbeatable. Sounds like you will have a better chance if you are at home instead of on the road, tho. Where do you fit in the East rankings? I know you are tied for the best record, how does that play out between you and RiverCity? Looks like you may get a chance to get revenge at home against Lakeland. Dropping that Osceola game hurt them bad. I think you will be playing RiverCity in the Eastern Conference title game, but who is at home? The Outlaws proved RiverCity can be beaten in St. Louis. Strong D is the key...

GTDREW
07-02-2006, 10:50 AM
OO,
The Guard and River City are tied at 13-1 if the league counts all the forfeits for everyone, (I think they had two or three) and the Guard none. But then again, playing a sub-team might as well be a forfeit at times, but it still counts as a "game played". '88 has us listed as the number #2 seed and I will go with that for now but the league has been known to funky things at times as far as schedules go. From what I am hearing Lakeland is wanted in F'ville for a rematch, but we can play the Maulers for the third time. It's hard to beat a team three times in a season no matter who is playing. Just food for thought as several teams will be doing that in the next few weeks. If all top seeds win and the way things are right now the Guard would go to River City in the third round and the winner going to the Bowl.

ArtificialNoize: I don't dance so backpeddling is not in my nature. How you twisted my milk jug statement into your homophobic rant is beyond me. We had some Wyoming fans come to town earlier this season bearing the aforementioned "noisemakers" and I thought they were a bunch of pusses for using them. I was just asking what kind of fake noise you were making, that's all. As for "Anyday, anytime. Me, you", I don't believe in long distance relationships, they never work...

Hey Noize, did you think that up all on your own? Way to "bust balls". Some day, when you grow up, you may get a pair of your own. Unless, of course, you happen to be Go88's kid sister! It's all starting to make sense now...

Drew, you gettin' all this??

An idiotbag with the existence of his entire self-esteem pumped into an NIFL team (LOL) claims I have no ballbusting skills, yet finds it necessary to respond to my posts 2:1 and keep this thread alive.

Yeah, I have NOOOOOOOO idea how to bust balls, do I?

Love you Outlaws.

Noize, trust me, Drew's getting all this and he's probably snickering every time you blow a gasket. Your last post was a little better. At least it was in English. Now that we know you can be trained, let's work on your technique. This is an NIFL message board, not an NFL message board. Get used to it. We don't have an NFL team in this area, so we sink our teeth into supporting the Outlaws. We love talking trash, but we insist upon that trash making some sort of sense. So, please feel free to attempt to bust balls and you will get some love for good work. Sound like a fool and we will remind you of it. Simple stuff, really. Go Outlaws!!

GN, you should know that I am getting all of it. It's like watching a prize fight but without the pretty ladies walking around with the round numbers. I have to admit it's entertaining but I am not sure of the score yet. Good luck to both and I think it's about round 3 but please let me know if I am wrong. Drew.

ArtificialNoize: "Nanny, nanny, boo, boo"??? Wow, nice come-back. I'm sure Guard Nation is proud of that one. Your trash skills are weak, at best. Loosen the sweater tied around your neck, what little brain you have left is dying. Keep laughing at your own posts 'cause no one else is...

Noize, you spelled Billings right! Kindergarten is treating you so well. Beware trashing the city instead of the team or the fans. I lived just north of your neck of the woods as part of the US Navy for a few years. I know your area way more than you know mine. I refrain from counter-attack for now, tho it would be very easy. I liked a lot of things about NC, too bad for all that Noize pollution...

Drew, I was actually just outside Chesapeake, VA. Satellite Communications facility called Northwest. Funny how it was as southeast as you can get in Virginia. Half the base was in NC. Enlisted E-6, not much of a knife-n-forker O-type. Nine years active. You?

Jeez, Noize, gettin spanked by Preeths? I wish I could have seen that post. You always provide a ton of ammo. Nice to know you are a Commie pinko bassturd with no respect for the military. Apparently you've never been in it. Sissy, looks like you find your discipline from the dominatrix Madame Bob. You seem to have a fixation with gayness, do I sense a bit of BrokeBackNoize?

If we're listing resumes now, it might enlighten you to know that I was in active duty (Army) from 87-89, inactive 89-95 and attended NCSU and UNCP and have a BA in Broadcast Journalism, having worked as a reporter for CBS, local anchor cut-ins for CNN in Myrtle Beach, made hundreds of TV commercials, was Public Relations Director, Webmaster and TV Coordinator for a college here and am now the Programming Manager for the largest telecommunications conglomerate in the world--and still do a couple websites on the site, this after breaking up the LLC I founded in 1997. Now that THAT's outta the way (I didn't know you cared), it should be said that while I don't really LOOK for fights, I have never really run from them either so anytime you wanna test my 'sissy-meter', you said yourself you know my area better than I know yours, bring it to Fayetteville Mr. Non-Sissy Naval Officer (is that combo possible?) and we'll set things straight.

That said, it ain't my fault that Mr. Preethy-poo has "obscure website watchdog" on HIS resume and I merely show up once in a while to stir the pot and leave. That siad, I could give a rats you-know-what if I'm banned from the board--whatchu think of that?

I guess I have my answer if preethy-poo is biased when he takes off a simple line "There was a gay dude in the Village people too" but lets "Sissy, looks like you find your discipline from the dominatrix Madame Bob. You seem to have a fixation with gayness, do I sense a bit of BrokeBackNoize?" stay up....At least be consistent, like the Guard's defense, will you?

Don't get me wrong, I have no problems with OO's post--it shows off his lack of what he believes to be sly wit but man, what was so wrong with saying there was a gay dude in the Village people?...it's true.
