Grizzlies Take Series From The Paints!

Well, I'm in a good mood about my Grizzlies...sure they're dwelling in the lower portion of the Western Division right now...but we took 2 of 3 from Chillicothe this week and that makes me feel good about our chances. Last season we were in the race until bascially the last week of the season.

So..here we come?

My Paints didn't play up to what they're capable of playing excluding the second game of the series. Glenn Wilson looked steamed late in the third game after a ton of blown umpire calls, and I don't blame him. Some umpires do need glasses. With a below average performance against Gateway, you have to be concerned if you follow the Paints. Rambo (Ramistella), Garcia and Mendoza are trying to do too much. Colopy is very cold, he is playing nothing like he did in 2005. I have this odd feeling that Jeff Parrish isn't really comfortable behind the plate. Oh yeah, errors, errors, errors!

So basically, our fielding especially has to step up. We've been asleep when fielding. Our pitching does a great job when the fielding is clicking. As for your Grizzlies, Battra, they just did their job. They did what they had to do to win. The better team won the series. Congrats. Your Grizzlies are in a 3-way tie for second place in the West right now, so anything can happen.

As for the Paints' opponents, it doesn't look like the Beach Bums are leaving the rear view mirror so to speak. They are indeed "pesky" as Phil Gray of the Chillicothe Gazette would put it. Even Kalamazoo is trying to make a delayed run right now. There are still some games to be played and alot more drama, too!

Tonight we start a 3 game series against the Rascals...should be fun!! ^_^

The Grizzles look to be very solid, other than thirdbase and maybe alittle short of power.

The Grizzlies took the first game against River City last night! Now we're tied for 2nd place with Evansville...stupid Evansville...I hate them so much!! hahaha

Go Grizzlies! We're also number one in attendance...River City needs to pick theirs up a bit...they're about 300 or so below the average team.
