This guy had a message on the USBasket board about seeking general managers and coaches. So being the inquisitive person that I am, I emailed twice and have gotten no response.
After emailing him, I emailed the Great Lakes Storm's front office (whats left of it) and have gotten no response either.
Anyone else have any luck with their emails to minor league people?

I emailed moose lewis. He said that they are currently working on teams and do plan to play this year.

South Atlantic;
You and I have corresponded in places other than this board, and know a little about each other's business; one of the reasons that I got into Thunderstix distribution was to get to know minor league sports people, who I admire because to prosper they have to overcome a low media profile by being innovative, working hard, and providing quality entertainment to people on middle-income budgets. As you can imagine, I have gotten to e-mail many people that fit in this category(and also some that didn't). It is my experience that the best ones have been the most responsive(as you have always been).
My company is now pretty profitable, but my overhead is much lower than that of a team owner, and it took a good while to become profitable (and some mistakes); and I went into this with considerable net worth (which got me through some of the mistakes to the profitability). I can only imagine what it is like for team owners and GM's on the lower media profile levels.
This comes to a point, and the point is this;YOUR ONLY CHANCE FOR SUCCESS IN MINOR LEAGUE SPORTS IS A VERY TRUE AND SINCERE LOVE OF WHAT YOU DO. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE QUICK BUCK, KEEP YOUR DAY JOB.
The ones who become successes all have that love, and it is special for me to get to know them. They bring their constituency more true bang for the buck than any other American business group.
