For all you old timers you might remember Scott Pingel of the River City Rage and the Show Me Believers. The Rage is honoring him tonight by Retiring his Jersey. He is one of the great players of the NIFL and holds many records. I wish him the best of luck in all he does.
Let me know what other teams have retired jersey's ,would like to know what other teams do to honor their own. Some positive vibes would be great going into the playoff's...
Here is to the Rage taking it all the way.... Should be some really good games after this week.. Best of luck to all of you fanatic fans and your teams...:p

I wasn't going to respond, because you were talking to the "old timers", but my son insists that I qualify.
For anyone that's followed the better side of the NIFL, Pingel was consistently one of the league leaders each and every week. I had the pleasure to see him play a few times, for both the Believers and the Rage, and he was ready for to perform at the top level each and every time he went on the field.
Definitely a guy that his QB's loved having out there.
Congrats to Scott Pingel! The honor is well deserved.

Scott was not the fastest player, but he was fast, not the biggest, but played big.Had the greatest hands I have ever seen in any league including the NFL. Yes, he broke Jerry Rice's NCAA records.
