2 Divisions or 1?

You guys think the SPHL should split into 2 divisions this season or are we a year away from seeing that?

I went to a watch party for the stanley cup and the seals coach was there. The question came up and he said that we might see it next year or the year after

Assuming that holds true, any ideas as to what kinda playoff format we might see next season? Im thinkin top 6 get in with the top 2 gettin byes into the semis and 3 playin 6 and 4 playin 5 in a best of 3 wild card round. Semis would b best of 5 with the top seed playin the lowest remaining seed and the #2 seed playing the highest remaining seed.....id like 2 see a best of 7 championship series.

It will probably be like it was this season. One playing six best out of five and the lower teams playing the best out of three. You wont see a best of seven in this league. It is to small of a league to do that. It would be to long.

I kinda thought 7 games would b pushin it.......what i wish they would get rid of is the 1 v 6, 2 v 5 and 3 v 4 format for the opening round.....i understand the theory behind it, im just not a fan of it. i wish theyd consider giving the top 2 teams byes into the semis and have 3 play 6 and 4 play 5.......but oh well, im just glad we're out of the UHL and in the SPHL.
