AIFL Forums down?

Not only did I get banned on the AIFL forum site for my postings here, but now it appears the complete forum section is down.

Anyone able to pull up the aifl forums?

I even tried a backdoor to the message board and had no luck. What a BS move on the part the AIFL. This is a time when the fans should be getting excited about the playoff games, but Haines is so inept that the season has pretty much blown up in his face, so to avoid having to deal with the problem he closes up the board.

You can't tell me this was planned as a site maintenance thing either -- who closes down their message board in the middle of the night during their post-season?

The AIFL is building www.aiflfan.com as a fan site. Haines was quoted something like "If the fan think they can do it better, let's see how they do with a website." Its a very convenient time for this to happen, and when the fan site goes up, all fans that contribute will probably be full of sunshine and will be kissing the league's butt. All negative comments will be able to be disregarded as "just a fan site full of disgruntled fans." Just another way for the league to deflect the negativity.
