with respect to nksports response to the previous post, I am really curious as to where anybody gets reliable attendance figures.
I've been to games in six AIFL cities and I'm not sure I've eve seen a figure from any of the games. Columbus had the best crowd but most of them were freebies to soldiers at Fort Benning. A great idea by the way, particularly if you get acut of concessions.
I understand Daytona's attendance really picked up towards the end of the season. Same thing for Rome but their place must be the smallest in the league to start with.
Richmond, Raleigh and Augusta were smallish.
If the league average is 2000 I would be surprised
