IDIOT!

Now I will tell you why folks should start calling this moron's bluff:
Common sense and actual events follow:

I rated the top 10 teams and their records against each other, not pansies. I included only one team without a quality win. Hey, I needed a tenth... Your thoughts?

P.S. I can't give enough love to Tri-Cities (Wyoming #2) for having the toughest schedules and surviving it well.

1 - Billings Outlaws (5-1): Defeated Wyoming at home. Lost to Tri-Cities on the road. Defeated RiverCity on the road. Defeated Tri-Cities at home. Defeated Wyoming on the road. Defeated Rapid City at home.

2 - RiverCity Rage (3-1): Defeated Katy on the road. Lost to Billings at home. Defeated Beaumont at home. Defeated Lakeland on the road.

3 - Rapid City Flying Aces (1-1): Lost to Billings on the road. Defeated Tri-Cities on the road.

4 - Lakeland Thunderbolts (1-1): Lost to RiverCity at home. Defeated Fayetteville at home.

5 - Fayetteville Guard (2-1): Defeated Osceola at home. Defeated Osceola on the road. Lost to Lakeland on the road.

6 - Tri-Cities Fever (3-4): Defeated Billings at home. Lost to Wyoming on the road. Defeated Wyoming at home. Lost to billings on the road. Lost to Rapid City on the road. Lost to Rapid City at home. Defeated Beaumont on the road.

7 - Katy Copperheads (1-3): Lost to RiverCity at home. Lost to Beaumont on the road. Lost to Rapid City on the road. Defeated Beaumont on the road.

8 - Wyoming Cavalry (2-6): Lost to Billings on the road. Defeated Tri-Cities at home. Lost to Rapid City on the road. Defeated Beamont at home. Lost to Tri-Cities on the road. Lost to Billings at home. Lost to Rapid City on the road. Lost to Beaumont on the road.

9 - Beaumont Drillers (1-3): Lost to Katy on the road. Lost to Katy at home. Defeated Wyoming at home. Lost to Tri-Cities at home.

10 - Osceola Football (0-2): Lost to Fayetteville at home. Lost to Fayetteville on the road.

* Cincinnati had a chance, but getting spanked at home by Osceola will ruin that.

GoAces, I gotta give Rapid City a little more love. They also defeated Tri-Cities at home giving them a 2-1 record against quality opponents. I hate missing one...

GoAces, still more love. I also left out your Wyoming games. Wishful thinking for this weekend maybe. 4-1 against the best, I'm still trying to find weaknesses with your team... =)

first off wouldn't 4 and 1 makes us second place??? and we also beat katy at home so that would make us 5 and 1 which would put us in a tie for first but billings wins the tie breaker since they got lucky at home puting us at number 2. Im so sick of how people say we arent that great and also the massey ratings go off of formulas which massey himself has very little control over if you knew anything about power points and how the formulas work you would not act like you know what you are talking about. Im not a newby so dont even say that im just sick of rapid city not getting any respect. Well i guess we get respect just not like we should but hey here come the playoffs and the aces will fly sorry ladies

Rapid City lost to Billings.... Fayetteville lost to Lakeland...Katy is 9-3 but ranked behind defunct Palm Beach? hilarious..As for your top 10 looks good except i believe Osceola is 9 and Beaumont is 10. Osceola has lost 5 games by 10 points total and should have won 3 of them ...Could have won all of them. Beaumont has gotten tuned several times. Like vs Montgomery where Osceola somehow managed to come from ahead by 15 in the 4th to lose by 1...And had a chance to win with a FG with no time left ...Whereas Beaumont got dismantled 65-12.

COPPER, I wanted to put you a little higher, but your schedule didn't give you that opportunity. Not your fault. FULL, you make a good argument. I was torn between Rapid City and RiverCity and my own original inept math skewed the rating. The recent play of each team indicates a very close balance, but RiverCity is playing stronger. I honestly believe the top 5 could be a toss-up on a neutral field. Rapid City will get a chance to prove me wrong next weekend, but they should have lost that Tri-Cities game. JIMBO, I actually wanted Osceola at 8, but without a quality win, I just couldn't. Your team will remain a quandry until you prove yourselves with a good game against a very good Lakeland team. As for POWERPOINTS, I think in logic and results. Rapid City has every opportunity to prove themselves next weekend. I think the best team in the NIFL will emerge from that carnage.

But they still b elong higher than Beaumont...Beaumont is 6-6 ..Has pretty much beaten no one... Got run off the field several times.. Suffered a large loss to a similar opponent with Osceola 62-12 vs 47-46 or something like that...Barely squeked by Arkansas with a 3 point win. They are not in the same league as Osceola. With a little luck and one play gone different ..Osceola could be 11-1 honestly. If you saw how their losses went down you would be amazed. I still dont know how they managed to lose in Montgomery.

Where would it put us if I told you we beat Katy here at home?

JIMBO, Osceola definitely has an argument for a higher rating, but you have ZERO quality wins. You gotta either beat Lakeland or play them very tough next weekend to gain true respect. Numerous close losses are still losses. Give me something to write some trash about, I honestly want you to. Beaumont got some love from me by beating Wyoming, a very tough team. GUSHER, I have to assume you are a Beaumont fan. You are correct, I cheated you out of that Katy win. The main reason Beaumont isn't higher than 9 is because you barely beat Wyoming at home, but got totally clobbered at Wyoming. Plus, your fairly easy schedule (compared to Wyoming) didn't help you. I know, I know, you don't make the schedule, but it is within our rights to judge teams based upon it.

It matters not who is ranked where...All will be decided in the playoffs...Two big games for Osceola that will determine alot for positioning...Osceola wins out and will be the 4th seed. Even that matters not..If they end up 5th then they will end up playing a slug team like Charleston or Cincy again and will run them out of the building. I want them to be 4th though...Then they will get one home game as i understand the playoff set up ...4 vs 5. And that means one more game for me to work which i dont mind!

Don't want to stick up for a system that has Billings #2 but I think these ranking are all numbers, not a personal opinion. Much like college football computer rankings he just plugs some numbers into a formula and out comes the rankings. And like jimbo said it will be settle on the field come July so these are just for fun and for us to argue about.

As far as the Billings and Rapid City being on top- they will determine that this weekend when they meet again-
Outlaw- thanks for the love- we still have to travel to billings in 2 weeks so we get another shot at them- but as far as I'm concerned we beat Beaumont- and that means we get a opening round play-off game and everybody knows how hard it is to play here(avg att 5000+)I do agree we should have beat Rapid City at home, but oh well that's fball and we hope we get another shot at them.
