AMERICAN BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION GOES HOLLYWOOD!
Pro Basketball League to be featured in Movie

Kansas City, MO - Jim Clark, American Basketball Association CEO, today announced that the league has executed a five-year deal to produce filmed entertainment with Public Media Works, Inc. The new partnership will kick off with a full-length movie, tentatively titled " The Action", scheduled to begin production in the fall.

According to Clark, "I spent many wonderful days in LA and Las Vegas with Corbin Bernsen, President of Public Works Media, going over a fabulous script and working out the details. Sports movies are very popular as evidenced by the success of "Seabiscuit" this summer. This movie should be a blockbuster. It's a great story. We're very proud to be a part of it."

Public Media Works Inc. is the parent company of PublicFilmWorks, a Los Angeles based production studio headed up by Bernsen, who is best known for his roles in LA Law, Major League, The Dentist and currently The Mole.

"All of us here at PMW are thrilled to be involved with the ABA, not only because of the tremendous business opportunities of this fast growing organization, but quite simply the exciting, fast paced brand of professional basketball being played on its courts", said Bernsen.

Clark continued, "The ABA has made remarkable strides this year with high profile publicity from Master P, "Jellybean" Bryant, Dennis Rodman and others. The league has recently announced a major expansion program that will bring our fast-paced brand of exciting professional basketball to many new communities next season. To us, this relationship and the movie represent another step in the progress of the league. I can't tell you how excited we are."

Public Media Works Inc. creates entertaining environments for consumers and brands to interact while building core markets for its content and products. Public Media Works Inc. was incorporated in May 2000 and is headquartered in Van Nuys, CA. For more information please visit http://www.publicmediaworks.com/

A blockbuster???

Imagine if the movie was actually about the ABA.......

Scene I: [Late night, in a small smoke-filled basement that doubles as the league headquarters, a frustrated Joe Newman sits in front on his computer]. "Damn, these bills just keep coming in!!!! Why can't these creditors just leave us alone. Don't they realize that we are trying to provide family-friendly entertainment! We've got the 3D lights for God's sakes! Oh, here's another nasty note from Canseco. Note to self, look for a new venue for the Legend". "I'll show them all! I've got 90 applications for expansion right here. I'll just give everyone a free franchise and then I'm sure we could get 8 of the 90 teams to finish the season. Now where are those Mexican expansion applications?"
