Calling all solid and stable AIFL teams so come on over and join the new power house the PIFL. I think there are a few good teams left in the league that could really make a better product for their fans next year. I think that between the NIFL, AIFL and the other indoor leagues the PIFL will get a good soild group of teams next year with more to follow each year. Unlike now where more teams fold than make it

Didn't the AIFL (and every other league for that matter) make the same promises of stability? Of course anything is better than the NIFL at this point. But, if I were a team owner, I'd wait and see how the first season of the PIFL pans out before jumping ship right away. At this point, no one really knows for sure if the PIFL will actually take off. So I wouldn't burn any bridges just yet.

But that's just my opinion.

Given this stance, the GLIFL is looking like a pretty good option to disgruntled AIFL teams.

While I'm sure that we won't hear public announcements for some time, I do hear that the league is getting very impressive inquiries along with the solid teams that already have stated to the league that they want to join and make this the legitimate league we've all dreamed of.

Good teams will do their research. If a group of qualified teams fill a region, per the PIFL's requirements, I'm sure we'll start officially hearing of the teams that join. I wouldn't imagine that we'd hear much until many of the current leagues wrap up this season.

Here's a link with PIFL info.

Just speculating here - maybe some of the owners who are upset about how the AIFL is run will get together and decided to leave. I think most of the hardcore fans want a league that is run with professionalism and integrity. We don't want something is clouded with controversy all the time. Side note, good to see you here Bandito.

Thanks, but won't be here long. I lose interest once the season is over then switch to NFL.

You will see me around if the bandits return to richmond, depending on the league. Might have to change my name though.

IT wont be the Pifl but another name. And the rumor mill has it that A LOT of haines aifl teams will be there. But with the recruitment of cincinnati and huntington being courted to the eifl would be a big mistake. They should go along with the rest down south and in the mid atlantic or Join the GLIFL, along with Ohio Valley and erie. And shiver is trying to fine teams as we write to make what she can before the demise of the NIFL also. See ya at the soon to be differant named American Bowl II.
