Sure, I'm biased ...but based on what he's done with a limited budget and a pitcher unfriendly park, my first choice is: Jeff Ball, Atlantic City Surf

2) Sparky Lyle: he's got 2 championships under his belt but the Somerset Patriots can more easily attract AAA/Big League Talent

3) Herr of the Barnstormers: Herr struggled most of last year but he has the 2006 Barnstormers almost a lock for the 1st Half Southern Division title. Herr is better than Lyle this season.

4) Camden's Wayne Krenchecki: I'm completely baffled as to why "chick" and his ballclub are struggling this year. But Wayne is to the Camden RiverSharks what Lyle is to the Somerset Patriots.

5) Chris Jones: Newark Bears. Jones is a former Atlantic League player that is really having a lousy first half. Not sure if it's him or inept Bears management.

The rest of the Atl Managers get an incomplete.

Yup. Not only is Surf skipper Jeff Ball a good manager, he's a nice guy and he's got a great sense of humor. I've seen Ball engage in great interaction with heckler's in the stands...unlike, the former Surf Manager Mitch Williams.

The Ducks and Bluefish managers (Buddy and LaPoint) deserve some (a lot) of reconginition also because they have the two best teams in the North. I alson think the Road Warrior's manager has done a great job.

Moofis,
Buddy hasn't managed the Ducks since 2000. Don McCormack is the Duck's manager. I wish it was LaPoint.
