CBA: Say Hi to the Butte Daredevils

This makes the second "official" franchise to join the CBA this off-season, following the transfer of the San Jose SkyRockets from the ABA to the CBA.

Some notes: Butte will be the third Montana-based city to host a CBA franchise; the (Great Falls) Montana Golden Nuggets (early 1980's) and the Billings Volcanos (early 1980's) were part of the CBA, and both teams had a fierce rivalry with each other.

..the article on the Daredevils (and I like the name too) in the Montana Standard mentions that the CBA draft will be on September 28 and the season will start on December 1.

It also says that the hope is for 12 teams in two divisions: Eastern and Western, and that the Great Falls team will be named the Explorers. The July 1 "expansion deadline" is also mentioned.

Any word on the Mayhem, or any teams in the East?

Daredevils and Explores are both great names, they must have a good research guy working for them being that they are not from that area.
