Boy! The IIHL can't get ANYTHING right!!!!!

I was just surfing around and figured I'd look to see if the IIHL site still was up, or if it was MIA like the league. I noticed something I didn't before, so I'm not sure if it was there or not. In the article about Darren Banks, they refer to the Michigan State Fairgrounds Coliseum as being in Downtown Detroit. Anyone who is at all familiar with the Metro Detroit area knows that the fairgrounds are at 8 Mile & Woodward. It sits on the very northern edge of the city (walk across 8 Mile and you are out of Detroit). It is about as far away from "Downtown Detroit" as you can get and still be within the city limits. Maybe this is why it was abandoned on the day of the Snipers home opener, everybody showed up Downtown, yea, Downtown, that's the ticket!!

Oh ya, that Snipers link still sends you to the StupidWolves, uh I mean SuperWolves site. I guess it always will!

And another thing I just realized..... Isn't the league logo a rip off of the original CEHL league logo? I know the Tri-State Hurricanes logo is the same as the CEHL Tri-County Hurricanes was. Since both "jokes" were owned by the same genius, I guess it's OK. I guess when you are kicked out of a league it is OK to take your logo and go.
