Word on the street is Mike Killbreath is planning on bringing the iihl back in March as a tournament format. This means more players and coaches will be asked to play for free in what is billed as a "pro" league. More empty promices and likely more wool over the eyes of arena owners and operators. So should he go to jail for his crimes? You decide!

I don't know if anybody else noticed, but the SDN site has officially taken the IIHL off of its list of leagues. Time for OSC to follow suit.

In a way it's too bad that the articles came out in the newpapers in Athens. The articles pretty much just gave Mike an excuse to shut things down here. He was looking for a way to shift the blame off of Mike Killbreath, and that's exactly what happened.

According to an email sent from Mike to the rink manager in Athens, the deal to sell the team "fell through". Yeah sure, whatever. In any case, the rink hasn't been paid. Last I heard, Mike was trying to re-negotiate the bill - which had already been kindly adjusted due to all the circumstances.

Bird Arena tries to do him a favor, and he totally screws them over. Arena is still owed just under $2000 and I will make as much noise about that fact as possible until the bill is paid. May Mike Killbreath die and rot in hell for his actions over the past year. He won't be missed.

Not a single player from Ohio Valley ever got paid. For some of the younger guys, perhaps its better that way.
