The league changed the game between Steubenville and Johnstown to a game between Steubenville and Miami Valley. Why did this happen? Is Johnstown now playing Syracuse? There is no answer to these questions in the press release. I wonder if this is a sign of trouble. Hopefully AH has everything under control. If he doesn't then this could be a sign of bad times.

Johnstown will play a semipro replacement team. Syracuse is done. Haines could not afford to have Syracuse travel to either MV or Jtown. (Syracuse is owned by Haines)

yes it is true, AH could not afford to pay the for the NY team to travel. And is the league sold to another group. How many teams will be making the jump to the other leagues? Alot of unhappy owners out there. Is this the demise of the AIFL. More to come, sense they said I could not post of THIER web site. Where's the turf discount now, in someone's pocket, thats where.

where did all the franchise fees go. This is starting to reek of the NIFL. The league is responsible for the teams that are there. Do the teams that have to play Syracuse now have to play a crappy travel team. It would be nice to get some answers instead of nothing. I enjoy watching this league and will be upset if it is just another shady fly by night operation. Could the owners of the teams that are affected sue the league for breach of contract? For not providing the financial backing they paid for. What does it say about a league that cant afford to send a team they own to a game? BOO to AH for this.

With good reason, the AIFL has often been referred to as "nifl2"

Because the league couldn't garauntee that they could get a team to travel to Miami Valley, their owner (who owns Steubenville) pulled them from their game to play in Troy, instead.

We (Steubenville) now play at Johnstown next week (5/27) in place of Syracuse, while this 'Pennsylvania Cardinals' team will play at Reading in place of Steubenville.

Steubenville gets a victory via forfeit on 6/2 for the game against Syracuse that will not be played.

What a joke. Our fans get cheated big time with this semipro replacement team TWICE. It's not fair to the good teams.

TIME TO GO GLIFL!

Yeah, but it's the league's fault. They were about to tell an owner that they wouldn't have somebody to play for their home season finale. Since he owns another team (who was on the road), his only option in his best interest was to make sure his home game got played, with or without the league okaying it.

Just like Steubenville will have a team to play on 6/10, regardless of how bungling the league is right now.

The Reading team has to play a semipro team this week. What is the AIFL thinking. Is this the same team that lost to Johnstown last week? I agree that the fans are getting screwed but what about the players for both teams? The Express should wipe the floor with this team. What if someone gets hurt playing a game that shouldnt be played. Hopefully it will be a good game, but I doubt it.
