It's been 6 years now since the professional football league, the SFL (Spring Football League) folded. Although the league was short lived, it had some great games. The SFL had many ex NFL stars as coaches and players. Players were paid $1300 per game and flown to and from games.
With the announcement of the XFL, the SFL folded in May 2000.
