Des Moines indoor football

Do you think Des Moines fans would support indoor football of a lesser league (NIFL or APFL)? Both of these leagues are in the back door so to speak assuming that the APFL plays this year.

It would be a good a market for either of these leagues. I'm surprised that nobody has tried to reunite Des Moines with indoor football.

I don't know why etheir. Everyone knows they have a Facility that can easily handle Indoor Football. I really doubt you could ever get crowds that the AFL Barnstormers got, but I could definitly see averaging 3500 people a game (which is enough for an Indoor team too succeed). The place has not had any type of indoor/Arena Football for a couple of years now.

Maybe some forces in the AF2 are trying too keep anyone from getting a foothold in the city. Or maybe the town is just too close too Omaha so they are not so supportive of the idea of a team in their backyard. On the other hand, this doesn't hold a lot of water since Sioux City and Lincoln are just as close as Des Miones.

I am really curious in why no other leagues want too get in their. I bet some Des Mione people would not mind and Indoor Team at all.

I can't believe Des Moins isn't up and running. They are a huge part of Arena Football history. How long has it been since the team went into hybernation?

The official last year was 2001 although the real Barnstormers were done in 2000. With things being so quiet just makes me wonder if they will ever actually return.
