Miami is always a tough market at best. (See the Heat and Marlins' history of lousy attendance.) If the Manatees can win a WHA2 Championship and then come back next year they will see a marked improvement at the gate. They just need to tough it out until then.

Actually, you had one of mine already. I was going to send you another one, but I thought I'd let some of the other photogs have a chance too. ;)

As for Miami...I can't help but think that this season can be put down to advance advertising if the WHA moves in next season and the NHL strikes. In that case, it's probably not a bad investment. Waronker says they have enough capital for the team to run at a loss for two season, but we'll see what really flies. Waronker says a lot of things and I don't trust him any more then I do any other minor league team owner.

Just wanted to say thanks for the Pictures. I am a fan in the SEHL, and a new fan at that. My husband and I are having to move away from Fayetteville, NC, and thus we must leave the Fireantz, except for occasional visits. We are moving to Orlando, so it is very exciting to learn a little about the next team I will see at games. Are you for Orlando or Miami???
Thanks again for the great Pictures, and if you are an orlando fan I would love to know a little about them. My husband is currently serving abroad in the Army and has put me in charge of finding us a place to live, I recently talked to him and he asked how it was going and I let him know that I have my priorties in order.... I have found a hockey team, next I will find a place to live.
