New to the board. HI. I was told there wasn’t a message board for the NIFL from the webmaster of the ‘official NIFL site‘. I guess I should have used search awhile back. Anyway, glad there is. My question is how much does the NIFL pay? Is it like the AF2, $200.00 per person for a lose & $250.00 per person for a win? Thank you…

I believe the NIFL is $250 per player ... period. Other leagues (ie. af2, intense, uif) pay bonuses to the players for wins. Then again, in the NIFL, some players are lucky if they get paid at all.

It actually depends on the team, and on you. Your best bet would be to talk to someone who ACTUALLY PLAYS FOR THE NIFL and not from people on this board who "assume" that they know everything about every team in the NIFL.
There are actually two very good teams that are in my area. The Cincinnati Marshalls and The Dayton Bulldogs. The semi-pro team that I play for work very closely with both of those teams, and they are handled in a very professional manner.
Good luck!!!

the league actually mandates a cap of 200 dollars per week per player who dresses. some teams do incentives. there is a cap on this as well and it is the sole discretion on how the teams do it. I know some teams set incentives based on season performances that are shared amongst the team, and some jus automatically pay some players. I also know that some organizations use "boosters" to help pay for good players to come. VERY common, not legal, but common. In all honesty it is hard for some of these players to keep switching teams for only 200 / week. so...a little extra cooin never hurts. hope that helps

That would be all right considering. Thanks for the reply!

I've tried that with no luck.
What league are you with? I play for the Arkansas Rhinos w/the NAFL.

Thanks, now my head hurts. That’s the way the AF2 team I played for was. $250.00 win + extra incentives under the table. $200.00 loses with nothing, now they all hate you. And if you didn’t dress but on the roster - DL, I think you get a check for $100.00. Thanks for the very precise post.
