Andrew Haines owner of the AIFL has not paid players or coaches. Lawyers are calling the coaches about unpaid bills. AIFL is a joke. NIFL if you are looking for a team in Raleigh call the Rebels. GREAT TEAM !!! 3-1

Thats would be great have the team and give Fayetteville another close team. I guess that will be two teams that have folded in the last week. I am glad we didn't move to that league now. NIFL don't let me down

I Will Vouch For That Raleigh Has A Great Team Capable Of Winning It All In Any League They Play At This Level. Would Be A Great Pick-up By Anyone, And They Are Game Tested And Ready To Go This Year So I Hope Someone Gives Them A Call And Picks Them Up! What A Great Market Raleigh Is For A Team, They Love Their Sports In The Area That's For Sure!

Its a sad day when somebody in another league wants to join the NIFL. Unfortunately its too late this season for the team to jump leagues.

Wasn't it Week 4 when the Warbirds jumped to the NIFL last year?

I got to say I went to the first Rebels game and I can see how the team has not been payed. First there was maybe 1000 people there and that was a Sat. night all the rest of the home games are on a Thurs. night at 7:00pm most people in Raleigh don't get home till about 6:00 or later so who's going? Also the carpet they were playing on was an old arena football carpet I say that because you could see the words arena football on the rug. The dorton arena is a piece of crap. I love indoor football but my wife and I talked about leaving early because of hard wooden seats. We didn't but I will never go back. My point the team didn't look like any money was put into it so I can see how the team hasn't been payed.

Ain't that the truth.
I heard somewhere that the AIFL was formed by Andrew Haines because he didn't like how the NIFL was ran. Then he ended up doing the same thing as the NIFL. Kind of ironic when you think of it.

Maybe when the two leagues join it will make one better league. I would think that would help teams that stuggle with the travel cost.

OK so if the AIFL owner hasn't paid the players etc... then doesnt that mean the AIFL OWNS the Rebels... or at the very least the League owner owns them.... exactly how (and WHY) would the team jump to the NIFL, which is a rival league?

The carpet you are referring to used to belong to the Orlando Predators of the AFL. It was used the season after their first Arena Bowl title. It's a little too light to the untrained eye to make out, but it looks somewhat like this...
