The CBA "GM of the year" clearly should have went to Jewell Harris of the Gary Steelheads. It is amazing the job he has done in Gary with plenty of obstacles, including a very late start at getting his franchise operating this summer.
This team has truly achieved and he has put together the right combination of players and never missed a beat when he lost the best scorer in the CBA Snap Hunter.
The team chemistry of this team had been great all season, and that is credit to the man who signs ther players.
I am not sure what the league used as a criterior for determining this award. But every game I attended at Gary, was great, fan-friendly, and exciting basketball.
Tho one incident that involved a Gary player (darrel johns) was handled totally professionally.
The league should take more time and think these things through before they select, but if they truly looked at this fairly and honestly, they could have only come up with one person, and that is "Jewell Harris Jr".
