This is the year for the Las Vegas 51s to win the Pacific Coast League (PCL) title, or at least the division title. We have a lot of young talent from the AA team in Jacksonville. They won the Southern League title. We will be better than 57-86 and even better than .500 on the year. Go Las Vegas.

Brantley Jordan LHP will be signing with affiliated ball again after having a dominating season as the closer on the San Angelo colts team.

When I am in Vegas next month on vacation, I am doing a freelance article on the 51's, the ballpark, etc as part of a series I am doing on minor league baseball. I have heard it is a great organization and I can't wait to do the story.

I love it, I go on vacation and I end up working. Ah well, my wife is there for a conference and I have to do something other than gamble. :)
