I think this should be listed on OSC under "Other sports" as unlike some of the ideas we have had here it's been running for two years and looks pretty strong in Virginia. I know the guy running it would like to franchise the concept and put this in other arenas.

Check it out on www.arenaracingusa.com

Like I said when I first saw you other post talking about this. i think something like this would do really good in a town like Fayetteville NC. I know the dirty track they have here in town does really good and with all the racing history around this area how could it no do good

Yeah I was just reading up on the whole league. To bad this is the last weekend they are running. I have family up in Norfolk so I wanted to make the trip but no luck this time

I really wish this would catch on and be in more east coast cities. I think it would be great for famlies because it is not over priced like so many more things out there

I know that there has been indoor racing in Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall since at least the late 70's and it is also popular in Tunica, MS. The main difference is in Atlantic City they use sprint cars and in Tunica they use more go-cart types.

I wonder who around here would be willing to set something like this up

As a little boy, I used to go with my uncle, who lived in long island ny to see races at this speedway - does anyone know it? I dont think it is there anymore and I was trying to see what the name of it was - any help

I think this would do good in the midwest.

Nice one Jamie. You know you would want to race one of those cars. I think it would be fun out there beating and banging around in a fast go-cart

Arena Racing USA coming to Charlotte, Joe Gibbs Racing buys franchise. Tony Stewart may even race a few!

I was going to say I see where Joe Gibbs had joined on but you beat me to it. Hopefully more big names will buy in and it can grow. COme on down to Fayetteville
