I was wonering if anyone one here follows the CPL(coastal Plains League). I have not heard that much about the up coming year and didn't know if there was any info out there to be passed on. I know we have at least one new team in the league this year. Can someone help me out with info. Maybe even get a CPL group/room on here?

I'm gonna be attending alot of the Fayetteville Swampdogs games this year since I've heard they are supposed to have a great team this year! First game is May 31st

We just got 2 players from ILLINOIS!!! ...I think we might be one of the best teams this year!

I wish that the owner of the team also owned the Stadium too. I think we could have such a nicer place to play if it was not left up to the city to pay for all the upgrades

Didn't they add alot of Stadium seats replacing the bench seating?.... I haven't been to a Baseball game since the Crocs where here in Fayetteville.

I am not sure the about the seating I know they added a little roof over some of the seats last year. It was nothing like I figured it would have been. I was hoping for more of the seats to be covered but I guess a little is better than nothing

I Pm'd the Admin and he said he wasn't gonna add them since they arent conisdered pro ....they have college players on the team.

Oh well we can just do our thing in here. I figured it would not have to be a pro league because half of the forms in here are for minor league teams. No biggie thanks for the update

I'm ready for this years season to get started...I know my family and I are going to the Season Opener on May 31st... and I saw on the Schedule that the All-Star game is gonna be in Town!!! Hopefully they have a Home Run derby...

I will be attending those games as well. At least as many as I can. I usually work on Wed and Thur nights and I will only be able to change my schedule for a few of the games that fall on those nights. I am planning to be at the opener though.

Oh No!! :( Guard Fan, when do you have to head out? Hopefully you can make several Swampdogs games, and lots of Guard as well before you go. Thank you for doing what you do, especially the trips to the sandbox, so that we can all do what we do here.

Not sure on the date yet but I know I will be gone beofre the season gets going good. I will be able to get some Guard games in thats for sure. I can't wait to have the grill fired up and beer flowing before the games:)

I just found out that the Swampdogs are having job interviews this weekend and I'm gonna go to the stadium to get a job for the summer as probably a User or either a Program seller!

Those swampdogs sure are looking good so far this year. It sucks I will miss most of the season being in the sandbox
