Anyone got any details of the IBL home opener between Portland and Vancouver. Read a brief article somewhere that said the first game of the season was played at the Rose Garden in front of over 5k fans.

5k? Are you sure. From what I hear, the TrailBlazers are having trouble drawing 5K.

Considering the lower bowl holds 13,000, the "not full" sections pictured that look full to the untrained eye, and the limitations of the photographed areas, concluding 5,000 is a poor idea.

It looks smaller than when I was in there the night before for the NLL game, where they announced 7,800, and I don't think it was more than 4,500.

I would still judge the crowd there as "impressive" for IBL, especially since I recall no promotion of the game during my 48 hours in Oregon over the weekend. Still, the clarification was needed.
