Just saw the new schedule . . .
The Marshals play Dayton THREE times, that is of course
until the newer schedule comes out, and the Marshals will
probably play Dayton four times, that is of course until
the newest of the new schedule comes out, and the Marshals . . . . . . .
I realize it's probably because of travel costs, but then why do
the Marshals go to Bozeman, MT for a game? There's some closer
teams out there that they don't already play 2 or 3 times.

The new schedule is now posted on OSC. The pair of teams dropped from the old one necessitated several changes.

If you guys need and extra game or two to fill in the schedule, why don't you call the Jacksonville Stallions. They have had two tryouts (about 140 players at $50 a pop) and dance team tryouts (70 girls at $20 a pop) according to their web site http://www.jaxstallions.com.
They must have enough players and cheerleaders by now. I'll say one thing about this league, it's gotta be good to not be a member (but say you are), hold tryouts, charge a fee to create cash flow and not play for a year. What a great country we live in.
I wonder why the rest of the league owners haven't thought of this. Just have tryouts twice a month and charge the 50 dollars. Why not charge for parking and sell t-shirts and maybe rake in a cool $10k twice a month and never have to buy uniforms and equipment (have everyone bring their own ball and helmet).

And that's what helps the NIFL fail. Absurd travel expenses. There's no reason for a team to travel across the country during the regular season. And the home fans aren't going to be that excited compared to more regional opponents that may have more socio-political rivalries with to begin with.
