APFL Announces 2006 schedule

The Missouri Minutemen web site [http://teams8.vicid.com/mominutemen] has the APFL's press release for its 2006 season. The full-schedule teams will be the Kansas Koyotes (Topeka), Missouri Minutemen (Kansas City area), St. Joseph (MO) Storm (formerly the Overland Park/Kansas Storm), Wichita Aviators, and Iowa Blackhawks (Council Bluffs). Each team will play one home game against either the Nebraska Wildcats or the Omaha Extreme, both of which are considered "road teams". I thought the Wildcats and Extreme were listed on an early version of the MAIFL web site.

I've been in touch with the Nebraska Wildcats. They are not pleased (to say the least) with the MAIFL management. I emailed the president of the MAIFL and its been a week with no response.

I am 99.9% certain the MAIFL is dead, which would explain the Wildcats swapping leagues.
