Well as one of those gloom and doomers, let me be the first to admit I was wrong about the ABA, because I never thought they would play and certainly not last this long (but hey cut me some slack my limited involvment with this league was with Jersey and Vegas, niether would I call a beacon of organization).
I am happy to see this league hanging in there, and they had a many a critic, but they are surviving.
The KC website is wonderful.
I think its time we eat some crow fellas!

Well, I think I'll wait before I congratulate the ABA. The only thing different that previous seasons is that the current owners must have deeper pockets that the ones in the past. These guys must be losing quite a bit so far.
When this league is run like a professional league, then maybe we can eat crow. After all, even MEYES, who has been the biggest supporter of the ABA for the past few years admits that the ABA is still doing most of the basics completely wrong! Missing games, changing venues, changing cities, scores not posted on time, no boxscores, etc. Long way to go.
Besides, I still haven't been paid from the first 2 seasons and this league has no intentions of honoring past debts. So if you are a player or a supplier, or one of the 12 season-ticket holders, WATCH OUT!, because nothing has really changed in the front office.
