Hearing rumors that Charlotte is out for 06 and Dayton may be next. Problem with coming up with the money the venue in Charlotte wants upfront is the story I'm told. Dayton is the no new owner thing.

Yeah go figure team not going to come thru the closer it gets to the start of the season

This week the Dayton team is now referred to as the Bulldogs.

We still have no league schedule.

Does this league plan anything and include deadlines? I think not. This would make great MBA case study material.

Maybe the teams are going to start the season after all because they keep showing up on all the schedules that are released

It was posted on the WarbirdsFan message board.

Someone who observed the tryouts last night and spoke to the new owner.

They wanted to change from Warbirds because of the bad press and fresh start..

They started with "Stallions", but found out it was taken by Jacksonville

There were probably way too many snickers about "Miracle"...

There is supposed to be a press conference next week.

If the team sells the warbird jerseys can you let us know? I collect game used jerseys and helmets and would like to add the Warbirds to my collection.

That's in the hands of the team's creditors. There will probably be an auction at the creditor's discretion.

What exactly are the creditors going to lay their hands on? The old Warbirds front office is cleared out. What the former staff didn't run off with is probably in North Carolina by now.

The fan club did get a hold of one jersey, and will probably auction it off for charity after the season starts.

Thanks Jamie, I will do that. And I guess I will watch also e-bay to see if anything showes up there.
