Looks like Colorad has landed its 2nd IBL team and also a CBA team for next year. Guess theres a trend of owners staying away from the ABA?-----------------------------------------------------------------------

NEW PRO BASKETBALL TEAM COMING TO LAKEWOOD
Lakewood, CO—The International Basketball League has added an expansion team in Colorado for the 2006 season. The Colorado Crossover will join the IBL’s West Division. The IBL has scheduled a news conference to formally introduce ownership and the team brand to the community. The IBL welcomes any interested party to the event.

About the owner: Jonathan Barnett is the Founder/General Director of Crossover Ministries, an organization that travels internationally to teach basketball and minister to young people all over the world. Barnett expects Crossover Ministries to be involved with both the ownership and operation of the Colorado Crossover.
In addition to owning the Denver OxyMagic franchise, Barnett also acts as the Vice President of Franchise Development for the company. Barnett intends to involve OxyMagic as a sponsor of the Crossover.
Barnett played college basketball at Oral Roberts University, and earned an MBA at Colorado Christian University.
John Johnson will join the Crossover in a dual role as both the general manager and as a player. Johnson played college basketball at Trinity Christian College, and is joining the team fresh from a stint playing professional basketball in the Czech Republic.
Barnett intends to offer the Lakewood community a team they can be proud of. “The Colorado Crossover will be a model of hard work and dedication,” said Barnett. He added, “This team was established to bring our community a positive group of role models both on and off the court.”
The Crossover will play a 20 game schedule in 2006, including 13 home games (See Second Page).
