It's on the front page of their website. It's also being rumored that the Lincoln Thunder have also applied to be in the USBL for 2006.

Both of these clubs will be good fits for the Summer Rec League.
As most of us know, the USBL is simply an off season place for players to hang during the summer.
With the low budget mentality that both these teams displayed during their poor efforts to be a part of a much larger and much more sophisticated pro basketball league as the ABA, they proved to be better suited for the USBL.
With all of the upward growth in the ABA I doubt very seriously that they will be missed by the ABA. Too bad they could not have held on to the ABA, that league looks like they are going places!
An amazing Championship Tournament (The ABA Great Eight) held in Rochester NY at the Blue Cross Arena. That event wrapped up their season nicely!

If the ABA is so smart, they wouldn't have let these alleged poor ownership groups into the league to begin with.
How easy to accept these teams into the league, cash their franchise fees, then blame it on the owners when it all falls apart.
You can't be that sophisticated of a league when over a dozen of your teams can't finish a season, and the off-season appears to be just as chaotic.

ABA is not even organized enough to constitute a pyramid scheme.

:p Morris - thank you for that humorous post. More than 150 USBL players have gone on to play in the NBA. More than 150 cities have been or will be ruined for minor league basketball by the ABA. Thank goodness we got out of there! Please post again when the ABA actually completes a schedule!

If they are not in the USBL, did the ownership group just disintegrate?

Apparently Lincoln is still active and is coming back in 06-07. There was a Press Release sent out today that they are looking for interns.
