Have you noticed Kansas City gloating about hitting the 6,500 season-ticket mark? And well they should. Congrats! More than that the Brigade is flying high. On the other hand, the Utah Blaze, the other new AFL franchise is flying under the Brigade's radar. In other words, Blaze become Stealth by ssaying at the bottom of a story they are at 7,000 season tickets. It seems to me that both are doing a marvelous job in sale of season ducats. Anyone hear what the other AFL teams are doing in the way of seasons? For the most part, the standard has been between 4,000 and 5,000 seasons for the past five years. Philly, San Jose, Colorado and Chicago have hit more than 5,500 each of the last three years...especially Philly and the Denver group. So, join in and let us know where the other teams are with season ticket sales. Thanks.

KC gets extra props because they came on board so late. To sell 6500 season passes in the limited amount of time they've had is commendable. They should easily pass 7,000 by the time the season starts.

Yes it is, Mr. Administrator. Commenable to say the lease for KC. I think it is interesting that the newest franchises in the last five years (especially when NBC started showing games) have sold a higher amount of season tickets versus the old established franchises; i.e. Tampa Bay, Orlando etc. It's all about promotion, advertising and good sales people that will propel any franchise whether its arena or indoor football, NLL lacrosse or minor league hoops. Watch Portland and Edmonton in the NLL blossom because of tremendous ticket sales, both season and individual, and eventually attendance. Have a good one. Go 'Cats!

Austin is at 2,000, with ticket trades, and will probably fold after this season.

They have a clause in their arena contract they get money back once they hit 12,000+ and that is why their attendance went from 9883 and 9441 in their first two home games in 2005 (actual numbers) to averaging over 13+ thousand the rest of the season.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could find out how many season tickets each team sells. If any of you know, join in. I know the league keeps the numbers under wraps and some teams claim a lot of other teams never give "true" numbers. I've heard this from several team executives. Let's take some stabs at this. Could be fun and even more interesting. Keep up the good work Leonard! And Dan and all of you who find out truth and not rumor.

Good news for the AFL is good news for all other indoor leagues. If the AFL continues to grow and gain general acceptance, it should spill over to the minor leagues.

Austin is at 2,000, with ticket trades, and will probably fold after this season.

I thought, when Austin was announced, that the AFL was a stretch. They would have been better to go AF2 or some other indoor league.

Just being a passive observer until this season, The Soul have really pushed season tickets. They're all over WIP (sports radio) and have a small local network TV ad campaign.

I think having John Bon Jovi and Ron Jaworski onboard has definitely helped. A buddy of mine is a mascot for the Soul and told me that today's game vs. the Avengers was going to be a real tough ticket. Unfortunately it was because of the halftime Bon Jovi show and not what should be a great Philly v. LA rivlary.

Blaze were tops in the league for attendance. Pretty good for little old Utah.
