The Revolution are to be run by CSM, the same groub involved with Daytona Beach, Kissimmee, Dayton, and part of Lakeland (I believe) last year. Anyone know if this will be their only team this season? I wonder if they'll run Charlotte as well.

Have they sold the Dayton franchise yet? I've been hopeful that the good fans in Dayton get that new owner we were hearing about.

I think Charlotte had an article about someone else owning that team sometime back.

If the NIFL really wants to clean up its image from the mess last season(which CSM seemed to be involved in a majority of) they better watch this situation very closely. While I don't know if there really was or which team(s) didn't have some complaints under CSM last year, I certainly hope we don't see any problems here.

Gads!

I would consider myself a fan of the NIFL, but I haven't seen any good come from his involvement with the league yet.

You know how to get rid of a cancer? CUT IT OUT! Not recommend it as a buyer for a new franchise.

How he has the shirt on his back after that disgrace last season is beyond me. Oh...wait...I know how...he stiffed all the players, buildings, and staff. That would do it.

Sure CSM is bad for the league and doesn't pay anyone, but their teams have nice logos.

...They are the relocated Daytona Beach Hawgs.

Technically, you are correct from what I've seen. Really, the only commonality the Greensboro team will share with the Hawgs is ownership. They'll have a new coach, new players, new front office, etc. To everyone but the league, which presumably doesn't collect a new franchise fee, it's a new team.
