Here are a few questions that help determine the legitimacy as to whether a team or league is going to survive. Help me out with this:
1) How many who have posted have actually been to an ABA game?
2) How many teams have a game program?
3) How many teams have imprinted tickets with a sponsor on them?
4) How many teams have radio or television coverage of their games in their markets?
5) How many of the teams have had promotional giveaways that amount to anything-such as magnetic schedules, trading cards, team photos, etc.?
6) How many of the teams have a Marketing Director?

Without doing any of the above-mentioned items, you'll never attract more than a handful of curious or diehard fans to your games and you will almost always have financial strains.

1) Ive been to a game
2) Thay had a crappy program for $5
3) Had tickets trhough ticket master, so they were professional but did not have sponsors on bc of that.
4)-5) they had all that covered, but they had there games tape delayd and live radio coverage.
6) IDK

But this is Rochester, one of the few successful teams. They arent apart of the majority failures in the leauge.

New Mexico Style vs. Gallup Talons in Santa Fe
No program, a printed page with rosters for free w/ABA rules on the back
No printed tickets, but you paid I think 7 bucks and got a raffle ticket type-thingy.
No radio or Media coverage.
No PA announcer, no staff, no security.
There was a lady working the door, and the NM Style coach, who would go and check the box they kept the money in at halftime, and then he ran and got it again at the end of the game.
I'm guessing they didn't have a marketing director, since the coach was taking care of the money.
One of the weirdest things I've ever witnessed at something that called itself a pro sports events.

Gallup on the other hand, is a first class operation.
