Marshals will be back in 2006

US Bank Arena just announced that the Marshals will be back in 2006 under a new ownership group. We have the press release up on OSC.

Excellent news for the Marshal fans! The group of players they had last year gave us a great story through tough times. They certainly finished strong and the crowd they drew for the playoff game was well deserved. Especially on the short notice that word was put out.

Did I hear the Ron Carpenter will still be involved with the team this year? It seems like someone either posted that he would be helping Coach, or I read it in an article somewhere.

Haven't heard that, nor anything to the contrary. Would be a good boost to the team if he is, though.

I think they should change their name. These guys have taken over the Utah Jazz of Indoor Football. They should do something about it!

They should change the name and change the league. They took the biggest and best step forward by changing the owner. (BTW: Was he ever found. There were a bunch of people looking for him.)
