Anyone heard anything about the IFL franchise in Frisco? It's the only franchise I can't find out anything on. If anyone knows about what area they'll play at, coaches, workouts, ownership, etc...please help a brotha out!

There is no news on Frisco yet as the team is not yet officially in the league for 2006. My understanding is that they are currently in lease negotiations.

Be wary of this tryout. We have it on very good authority that as of today the IFL will not have a Frisco team in 2006. The IFL will instead be a six-team league in 2006, though Frisco is a possibility for the future.

Frisco is waiting for the NIFL vs IFL lawsuit to conclude to make any announcement regarding the 2006 season. If there is an IFL, it is most likely they will play. If not, they will need to wait until 07' to determine what league is in best interest for the Frisco community. I think they should look at the AF2 due the market size and growth of North Texas.

I'm the Head Coach for the Frisco team and we're looking to play next year. We we're waiting on the IFL v.NIFL lawsuite. The time for the out come didn't give us enough time to get out season tickets to fans nor sponsors. So, we decided to wait until next year in '07 to compete. We've ran into some problems with a guy who was using our name to make himself money, that's no longer effective nor a problem. If you have any questions, go to our web site; www.friscoindoorfootball.com. We are looking for alot of talent in Texas and other places. I will workout my players that I choose to go to camp with for '07 every 3 weeks until our workouts in Nov-Jan. Hope to see you guys out there soon.

Coach, I noticed the sole leaguue links on the team's site goes to AFL and af2. Giving up on the NIFL and IFL?

Is it just me or is the server down for the Frisco Football website? Anybody know what their proporsed home venue will be?

I like this market for indoor expansion. Should draw a lot of talent from the DFW metroplex and the unhearlded North Texas Mean Green.
